Exciting Events at Believe Early Education!

The next two months are bringing plenty of excitement, special celebrations, and wonderful opportunities for our Believe families to come together! There’s so much for our little learners to look forward to.

Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming up throughout October and November!

Grandparents Day – Tuesday 27th October

A little love, a lot of cuddles, and some very special memories!

There’s something truly wonderful about the bond between children and their grandparents, and we’re getting ready to celebrate that special connection with our Grandparents Day!

On Tuesday 27th October, between 9-10am, we’ll be inviting grandparents into the centre to enjoy a lovely morning tea and take part in some fun activities alongside their grandchildren.

Each room will be hosting its own special experiences, giving children the chance to share their learning environment, enjoy quality time together, and create some beautiful memories with their loved ones.

Enjoy little conversations and share laughter through creative activities.

We can’t wait to welcome our wonderful grandparents and show them just how much they mean to us!

Halloween Dress-Up Day – Thursday 29th October

Little costumes, BIG imaginations!

Get those costumes ready because Halloween fun is coming to Believe!

On Thursday 29th October, children and educators are welcome to dress up as anything they like. Whether it’s a friendly dinosaur, a magical fairy, a brave superhero, or a favourite storybook character, we can’t wait to see everyone’s creativity shine!

Throughout the day, children will have opportunities to enjoy fun, play-based Halloween experiences that encourage imagination, creativity, and exploration.

Rather than focusing on sweets and treats, we’ll be celebrating through meaningful activities where children can express their own ideas, create artwork, and enjoy imaginative play with their friends.

Our Halloween celebrations will be all about having fun, trying new things, and letting little imaginations run wild!

Day for Daniel – Friday 30th October

Little voices matter, and every child deserves to feel safe.

We’ll be finishing October with an important day of awareness as we recognise Day for Daniel on Friday 30th October.

Day for Daniel is dedicated to promoting child safety and helping children understand the importance of recognising unsafe situations, seeking help, and speaking to trusted adults.

To show our support, we’re encouraging everyone to wear red!

Throughout the day, children will participate in gentle, age-appropriate learning experiences that help them explore feelings, emotions, personal safety, and the importance of speaking up.

Activities may include sensory play with red materials, stories about body safety, songs, creative experiences, and movement games that encourage children to recognise and express their feelings.

These experiences help introduce important safety messages in a positive and reassuring way, while supporting children to feel confident, heard, and valued.

The key message of the day is Recognise, React, Report, reminding us all of the importance of keeping children safe and creating environments where they feel supported.

Diwali – Monday 9th November

November will begin with a beautiful celebration as we recognise Diwali, the Festival of Lights!

Although Diwali falls on Sunday 8th November, we’ll be celebrating together at the centre on Monday 9th November.

Diwali is a special celebration enjoyed by many families around the world, including members of our very own Believe community. It’s a wonderful opportunity for children to learn about different cultures, traditions, and the importance of kindness, family, and togetherness.

Throughout the day, children may have the opportunity to explore traditional music and dancing, listen to stories, learn songs, and participate in meaningful creative and cooking experiences.

Families who celebrate Diwali will also be welcome to share their traditions, knowledge, and experiences with us, helping children discover the wonderful diversity within our community.

Through child-led art, storytelling, music, and shared experiences, we hope to create a celebration filled with curiosity, creativity, and connection.

We can’t wait to see our little learners discover the joy and beauty of this special festival!

National Recycling Week – 9th–15th November

Little hands can make a BIG difference!

Get ready for a week of creativity, discovery, and caring for our beautiful planet as we celebrate National Recycling Week!

Children are naturally curious about the world around them, and this week is a wonderful opportunity to explore how even the smallest actions can help look after our environment.

Throughout the week, we’ll be encouraging children to think about recycling, reusing materials, and reducing waste through fun, hands-on learning experiences.

From turning everyday recycled materials into creative masterpieces to exploring how we can reuse items in our play spaces, there will be plenty of opportunities for little imaginations to shine.

Our older children may also enjoy creating posters, sharing their ideas about caring for the environment, and helping show families the sustainable practices we use throughout the centre.

Recycling and sustainability are important parts of our everyday learning. By incorporating recycled materials into our art areas, sandpits, imaginative play spaces, and other activities, children can begin developing positive habits that help care for the planet.

We would also love our families to get involved! Whether it’s sharing recycling ideas from home, contributing clean and suitable recycled materials, or chatting with children about ways to reduce waste, every little effort counts.

Together, we can help our little learners grow into thoughtful and environmentally aware individuals.

Remembrance Day – Wednesday 11th November

On Wednesday 11th November, we’ll be recognising Remembrance Day, an important occasion to remember those who have served and sacrificed in times of war and conflict.

For our little learners, this will be a gentle opportunity to explore the importance of kindness, peace, respect, and caring for others.

Through age-appropriate stories and thoughtful conversations, children will be encouraged to reflect on what it means to be kind and how we can show appreciation and respect for others.

Where appropriate, our older children may also take part in a minute of silence at 11:00am, offering a quiet moment of reflection.

These meaningful experiences help children begin to understand important values while learning about the world around them in a safe and supportive way.

Two Months Full of Learning and Special Memories!

With so many wonderful events ahead, these next few months are shaping up to be filled with creativity, discovery, kindness, and connection.

Each celebration gives our children opportunities to explore new ideas, learn about the world around them, and enjoy meaningful experiences.

Keep an eye out for more updates, photos, and special moments from around the centre. We can’t wait to share all the fun with you!
