Carlie holds an Advanced Diploma in Children’s Services. With 26 years of experience in the Early Years sector, including 12 years as a centre manager, she is dedicated to supporting children’s individual development by encouraging their voices and interests rather than adhering strictly to predetermined schedules. Carlie has a strong commitment to incorporating recycled, open-ended materials into learning environments, enabling children to express themselves creatively. Her visit to Reggio Emilia provided practical insight into this educational philosophy, which continues to shape her approach. Children’s safety is central to all decisions Carlie makes.
Outside of work, Carlie enjoys spending time with her family, caring for her fur baby, dining out with friends, and travelling.

She has 26 years of experience and holds an Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood. She enjoys being part of children’s early exposure to education and learning. She feels honoured to see them grow and enjoy the early foundations of learning, setting children up to be engaged successful learners in life.

With several years of experience working with children and most of those within Early Childhood Education, Phillip is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development during their most important early years. He began his journey as an Educator, and has worked his way into leadership roles, including Lead Educator, Assistant Manager, and Educational Leader, predominantly working with the older children. He is currently studying his Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education to further expand his knowledge and continue growing as an Educator and leader.
Since joining Believe Early Education in the Kindy room, Phillip was grateful for the opportunity to step into the Assistant Manager role, whilst remaining actively involved working with the children. Phillip finds this balance incredibly rewarding, as it allows him to build meaningful relationships with children and families, whilst also supporting, guiding, and mentoring the other Educators within the rooms. He is passionate about creating a positive, collaborative environment where both children and Educators feel supported, confident, and inspired to learn and grow together.
