On 8th May 2026, our centre was full of excitement during our recent Mother’s Day celebration.
Our Children welcomed their mums, grandmothers, and other loved ones into the centre for a beautiful afternoon together.
The event was a wonderful opportunity for the children to spend quality time with the important people in their lives while sharing special experiences and creating meaningful memories together.
An Afternoon Filled with Smiles and Creativity
The afternoon was filled with fun hands-on activities that the children were so excited to share. We enjoyed making colourful bracelets, decorating delicious biscuits, and taking part in relaxing pamper experiences that were well deserved!
Children showed their families around the centre, shared their creations, and participated in the activities together. Seeing the special interactions throughout the afternoon made the event truly memorable.
These shared experiences help strengthen children’s sense of connection and belonging while creating moments families can remember long after the day is over.
Sharing Afternoon Tea Together
Families also had the opportunity to sit down together and enjoy a lovely afternoon tea. It was wonderful to see everyone relaxing, chatting, and connecting with one another while enjoying the warm and welcoming atmosphere.
This event was a beautiful opportunity for families to engage not only with their own children, but also with other families and educators within the community.
We believe that building strong relationships between children, families, and educators is such an important part of creating a supportive and positive environment as the children feel safe and confident.
Celebrating the Special People in Children’s Lives
Mother’s Day is a special time to celebrate the love, care, and support that mums and special loved ones provide each day. Through thoughtful activities and shared experiences, children were able to express their appreciation in meaningful and creative ways.
They proudly presented handmade creations and enjoyed quiet moments together during the afternoon, it was so lovely to see the joy and excitement on the children’s faces throughout the celebration.
